E-redes, the electricity distribution company, has scheduled more than 100 interruptions to the electricity supply for Sunday, August 30th. This information refers to planned and scheduled interruptions, not unexpected grid failures.

Several areas of the city of Coimbra will be affected by these power cuts during Sunday. Residents of these areas should be without electricity during the period when the interruptions are scheduled.

This type of scheduled interruptions are usually carried out by E-redes to allow the execution of maintenance, repair or upgrade works on the electrical infrastructure. The company usually informs affected consumers in advance about the schedules and expected duration of the power cuts.
