Russia announced that it sees no reason to improve relations with the European Union, considering that the European politicians currently in power are "belligerent". The statement was made by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
According to Peskov, European leaders have "fully mobilized Europe's military potential" to direct it against Russia. The Russian spokesman harshly criticized the European position, accusing leaders of "participating directly in military operations" against Russia's interests.
The statement comes in the context of the conflict in Ukraine, where the European Union has supported Kyiv militarily. Moscow has been regularly criticizing European involvement in the conflict, considering it a direct threat.
