The Regional Directorate of Health, through the Operational Unit for Intervention in Addictive Behaviors and Dependencies (UCAD), is developing preventive interventions during recreational nighttime events, such as parties, festivals, and fairs. These actions are part of a broader project to combat the consumption of psychoactive substances.
The project in question is called #Vibes4U NoDrugs and its main objective is to raise awareness among young people and event attendees about the risks associated with excessive substance consumption. The campaign is being implemented during popular festivals, taking advantage of the large gathering of people at these occasions.
The interventions are being carried out specifically at the São Vicente Fair, where UCAD has been developing awareness actions among participants. This approach allows reaching the target audience directly in nighttime entertainment contexts where substance consumption is more likely to occur.
The Regional Directorate of Health thus maintains its commitment to promoting prevention and awareness among younger segments of the population, using channels and moments of proximity with the target audience.
