Mongolia: COP17 ends with commitment to invest 1.3 billion dollars

The COP17 ended with an investment commitment of 1.3 billion dollars from the signatory countries of the UN Convention to Combat Desertification.

The signatory countries of this convention agreed with banks and private investors to finance dozens of projects in 23 countries across five continents.
