Driver disobeys stop order during a Stop operation and loses control of the car near the Tower of Belém

A driver disobeyed a stop order during a Stop operation by the Public Security Police (PSP) and lost control of the vehicle in the vicinity of the Tower of Belém in Lisbon.

The driver fled from the police checkpoint and ended up losing control of the car during the flight, as explained to Correio da Manhã by an official PSP source.

The driver was arrested by the PSP after the incident. The police source revealed that the driver was without a driving licence, and it is suspected that this was the reason why he tried to flee the stop order.
