Festival F is back in Faro for its next edition, which takes place between September 3 and 5. The event will occupy the historic center of the Algarve city for three days, offering a diverse program that includes music, art, gastronomy and activities for the whole family.

The festival lineup features 67 concerts over the three days of programming. The event brings together some of the main names in Portuguese music, seeking to attract both local audiences and visitors to the city of Faro.

Marvão Castle secures passage to national semifinal of the New 7 Wonders of Portugal

Marvão Castle secured passage to the national semifinal of the New 7 Wonders of Portugal after winning the regional final dedicated to Alentejo and Ribatejo, held at Jardim das Portas do Sol in Santarém. Classified as a National Monument since 1922, the castle stands out for the preservation of its authenticity and its unique relationship with the surrounding landscape. With history dating back to the 9th century, when it was founded by Ibn Maruán, and integrated into the Kingdom of Portugal by D. Afonso Henriques between 1160 and 1162, the monument represents one of the most emblematic testimonies of Portuguese historical heritage. The national semifinal will take place next Saturday, September 5th, in Sintra.
