Filipe Sousa demands solution for abandonment of former Educational Center in Santo da Serra

JPP deputy Filipe Sousa formally questioned the Minister of Justice about the state of abandonment and degradation of the former Educational Center of Madeira (CEM), in Santo da Serra. The infrastructure, which cost about 10 million euros from public coffers, operated for approximately three years and has been closed since 2013. Built for the reception, recovery and reintegration of young people, the complex remains without any use for more than a decade.
