Isabela Garcia stars in the fiction series "Alucinação", inspired by the life of singer Belchior, which premieres this Saturday (29) on Canal Brasil, at 8:30 PM, and will also be available on Globoplay. In the production, Isabela plays Edna Promotheu, the singer's last companion, who remained by his side until his death in 2017.
The series consists of four episodes that alternate between different eras to trace a profile of the artist, covering from his early years, when he was both a seminarian and a medical student, to his consecration in music. Actors Caian Zattar and Luiz Carlos Vasconcelos play Belchior in his youth and maturity, respectively.
For Isabela Garcia, the biggest discovery during the preparation for the role was learning details about Belchior's childhood. The actress highlighted that understanding an artist's life from childhood brings all the connections to their work.
Isabela Garcia is also currently on air in the soap opera "Quem ama cuida", broadcast by TV Globo, where she plays a character named Pilar who causes a scandal upon catching Ingrid in Iuri's room.
