The village of Negreda, in the municipality of Vinhais, celebrated on August 24th the festivities in honor of Saint Bartholomew, with the occasion marked by the inauguration of a new playground next to the local school. This equipment was presented as a safe space for children and a new meeting point for the families of the community.

The day began with an outdoor church service, followed by the traditional procession and the blessing of the community's agricultural machinery, keeping alive a tradition linked to the community's identity.

The park inauguration ceremony had the presence of the mayor of Vinhais, Luís Fernandes, and the president of the Parish Council of Celas, João Santos. The space and a new artistic mural, created by artist Guel do It, were also blessed by Father Belmiro.

The celebrations in honor of Saint Bartholomew ended with a communal lunch that brought together the residents and friends of Negreda.
