How to activate 'Smart Do Not Disturb' mode on your phone to receive only urgent messages

Phone users can now activate the "Smart Do Not Disturb" mode to temporarily block interruptions and receive only urgent messages. The system interprets which messages are highly relevant to the user, filtering notifications during the configured period.

To activate the feature, you need to open the device's Settings app. Then, the user must click on "Modes and Routines" and select one of the available options. The process allows you to configure the phone for emergency situations for a few hours.

In the "Notification filters" section, the user chooses what to block or allow. It's possible to block or allow calls, text messages, or specific conversations, giving full control over which communications will be received during the silent mode period.
