The National Health Service (SNS) completed the classification of the National User Registry (RNU), reaching a total of 10.77 million registered users. This information was announced today, marking an important moment in the organization of patient data in the Portuguese public health system. The completion of this registry represents a significant step in the management and planning of health services in Portugal. Regarding family doctor coverage, the SNS achieved a rate of 87%, which means the vast majority of registered users have access to an assigned family doctor. This value also indicates room for progress, as 13% of users remain without a designated family doctor in the system.
