Veterinarian Manuel Manzano gave an interview to Argentine news channel TN, in which he explained that respecting each cat's distance and time can directly influence the relationship with the animal. According to the professional, instead of chasing or forcing contact, letting the cat take the initiative can favor a closer and more positive coexistence. Manzano states that cats tend to feel more comfortable with people who don't constantly invade their territory.
The specialist highlights that giving the animal the freedom to decide when to approach can help strengthen the bond between the cat and the human. This approach based on respecting the feline's space is considered fundamental for building a relationship of trust.
