Certification to accelerate access to innovation

oglobo29 August 2026 at 02:50

A survey conducted by Piera, a reference center in innovation management, indicates that the possibility of accelerating the analysis of projects that provide access to tax incentives for innovation could boost the adoption of ISO 56001, the international standard focused on innovation management.

According to the survey, 84.7% of managers stated that they would consider or implement certification if it guaranteed priority in the analysis of projects submitted to the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI).

The study also shows that 84.6% of respondents point out that the expansion of legal certainty and agility in the analysis of projects is among the main factors that would justify the adoption of ISO 56001.

According to Piera's assessment, certification can function as a mechanism to streamline companies' access to tax benefits destined for innovation.
