According to INE, GDP Grows, Grows, Grows…

Angola's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) recorded real growth of 8.74% in the second quarter of 2026, compared to the same period in 2025, driven by the non-oil sector. The data was released by the National Statistics Institute (INE) through the Quarterly National Accounts.

The largest variations were recorded in the services and industry sectors. The non-oil sector grew 9.24%, while the oil sector recorded growth of 5.64%, according to the quick information sheet published by INE.

When compared to the first quarter of 2026, the performance of the Angolan national economy grew 2.75%, indicating a positive trajectory throughout the year.
