The Portuguese Refugee Council is participating in the Kalorama festival in Lisbon with an initiative called "Breaking Myths". The event serves as a platform to present the real experiences of refugees who have arrived in Portugal.
Refugees from countries such as Iran and Afghanistan are present at the festival to share their personal stories. These narratives aim to break misconceptions and stereotypes frequently associated with refugees.
In addition to sharing experiences, the organization is also using the festival to raise funds to support its work welcoming and integrating refugees in Portugal.
