The Constitutional Court judges considered today that the Parliament's decree on granting asylum, detention and return of foreigners contains relevant guarantees that safeguard the "best interest" of children. The decision was made after analysis of the law governing these matters related to foreigners. The court assessed whether the decree's provisions adequately protected the rights of migrant children. The judges concluded that the provided guarantees are sufficient to ensure the best interest of children covered by the legislation.
