Theodore Kwan, an 8-year-old boy from Singapore, attends chemistry classes at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), considered Asia's third-best university. Once a week, on Thursdays, he attends lectures as a guest of Professor Sumo Pullarkat.

Since he is not formally enrolled, Theodore does not take exams or participate in the discipline's laboratory practical classes. However, he demonstrates "deep interest in advanced chemistry," according to the VnExpress newspaper.

Reports indicate that the boy regularly raises his hand during classes and correctly answers questions asked by Professor Pullarkat. The child has stood out for his performance above what is expected for his age.
