PSU: what's changing for young people?

The new Single Social Benefit (PSU) now has defined regulation through Ordinance No. 394/2026/1, published on August 27. This new legislation establishes a set of obligations and rights for young beneficiaries.

The main changes relate to the definition of social solidarity activities, five additional hours of weekly availability for young people aged 18 to 25, and a participation fee of 13.43 euros.

The regulation also raises questions about the consequences for beneficiaries who do not comply with the new obligations established by the program.
