Angola's Gross Domestic Product recorded real growth of 8.74% in the second quarter of 2026, compared to the same period in 2025. This data was revealed through the Quarterly National Accounts published by the National Statistics Institute (INE).
The country's economic growth was driven by the non-oil sector, which had a significant performance in the period under analysis. This information indicates that the Angolan economy managed to diversify beyond oil dependency.
INE is the body responsible for producing official statistics in Angola, including the preparation of quarterly national accounts that allow monitoring the evolution of the country's economic activity over time.
