Banker Daniel Vorcaro gave testimony to the Federal Police in the morning and early afternoon this Friday. This was the first time this year that Vorcaro spoke to the corporation, as his last testimony had been in December of last year. The hearing was conducted via videoconference from the detention facility of the 19th Military Police Battalion of the Federal District, known as "Papudinha," where he is in preventive detention. The testimony had been postponed twice before.
This was also the first time Vorcaro spoke to the PF after the corporation rejected two plea deal proposals made by his defense. Investigators considered that the annexes delivered by the banker lacked evidence and were "insufficient" to bring new elements to the ongoing investigations.
