Raquel Lyra makes indirect criticism of PSB administrations, and João Campos uses Lula to ask for votes in TV debut in Pernambuco

The governor of Pernambuco, Raquel Lyra, from PSD, made an indirect criticism of PSB administrations during the debut of electoral airtime on television this Friday. In her program, centered on her trajectory and government deliverables, Raquel stated she did not receive the "tidy house" when she took over the state, in an implicit reference to the previous administration.

João Campos, her main adversary in the dispute for the government of Pernambuco and candidate from PSB, bet on President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva's image in his debut on electoral airtime. Lula appeared next to João Campos and directly asked for votes for the socialist candidate, reinforcing the alliance between PSB and PT in the state.

Raquel Lyra's program lasted approximately three minutes and twenty seconds and was presented in first person. In it, the governor talked about the three and a half years at the head of the government, mixing personal aspects, a balance sheet of the management, and promises for a possible second term. Raquel emphasized having traveled through several regions of Pernambuco during her administration.

The confrontation between Raquel Lyra and João Campos marks the continuation of the political polarization in Pernambuco, with both candidates seeking to differentiate themselves in their electoral programs. While the governor opted for a tone of administrative balance sheet and implicit criticism of the previous management, João Campos sought to capitalize on President Lula's popularity to win votes on the first day of electoral propaganda.
