Bernardo Pereira, Madeiran canoeist, returns to competition next Saturday, August 29, in the SS2 event of the European Ocean Racing Championship. The athlete had already become European Under-23 Ocean Racing Champion in this same competition.
In the previous edition, Bernardo Pereira partnered with Sara Sotero, a canoeist who achieved 7th place in the Open Women category in the individual event.
The duo returns to compete together in this new stage of the European championship, combining the experience of the young Madeiran champion with Sara Sotero's performance in the women's category.
Bernardo Pereira's return to competition happens shortly after his conquest of the European title in the Under-23 category, demonstrating his continuity in the Ocean Racing circuit.
