Family of Odair appeals and requests effective prison sentence and suspension of duties for PSP agent

Odair's family appealed the court decision and presented new demands in the case. The appeal requests an effective prison sentence of no less than five years for the PSP agent involved in the case.

In addition to the prison sentence, the appeal requests the suspension of the agent's duties at the Public Security Police. The family wants the court to apply this disciplinary measure together with the criminal conviction.

The compensation amounts were also subject of the appeal, with the family requesting values exceeding the 90 thousand euros that had already been set by the first instance court. These amounts are intended to compensate for the damages suffered.

The case involves a PSP agent and is proceeding within the Portuguese judicial system, with Odair's family seeking a significant increase in the consequences for the defendant.
