The Norwegian Andres Leknessun won the seventh stage of the Vuelta. The 20-year-old rider from Uno-X Mobility achieved his first Grand Tour victory, demonstrating exceptional performance throughout the stage.
Tadej Pogacar reinforced his lead in the general classification of the Vuelta. The Slovenian rider from UAE Team Emirates continues to be the undisputed leader of the competition.
In the general classification, Pogacar increased his advantage over the second-placed, the Spaniard Enric Mas from the Movistar team, from 3.34 to 3.50 minutes. Third place continues to be held by his compatriot Primoz Roglic from Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe, with whom the leader increased the gap from 4.21 to 4.50 minutes.
