The Norwegian cyclist Andreas Leknessund, from the Uno-X Mobility team, won the seventh stage of the Vuelta a España, completing the 149.8-kilometre route between Vall D'Alba and Aramón Valdelinares.
Slovenian Tadej Pogacar, rider of UAE Emirates, finished the stage in a position that allowed him to reinforce the lead in the overall classification of the race.
The stage took place on Friday, with Leknessund achieving his first victory in this edition of the Vuelta a España.
Pogacar thus maintains the position of leader of the overall classification, increasing his advantage over the main pursuers in the competition.
