TAP hires José Eduardo Moreira as new COO

TAP has hired José Eduardo Moreira as the new COO (Chief Operating Officer). Moreira had been general manager of maintenance and engineering at TAP since 1998, accumulating more than two decades of experience at the company.

He replaces Mário Chaves, who resigned from the position effective August 31. The change in operational leadership occurs at a time of transformation at the Portuguese airline.
