Polytechnic University of Coimbra strengthens energy efficiency with 15 projects supported by the PRR

The Polytechnic University of Coimbra implemented 15 energy efficiency projects with support from the Recovery and Resilience Plan. The projects enabled the reinforcement of the energy efficiency of the higher education institution.

The total investment in these projects funded by the PRR amounted to approximately 6.2 million euros. This amount was applied to interventions aimed at improving the university's energy performance.

As a result of these measures, a reduction of 455 tonnes of CO₂ equivalent in greenhouse gas emissions was achieved. This positive environmental impact contributes to the institution's sustainability goals.
