Jornal do Algarve28 August 2026 at 17:22

The Municipality of Lagoa, in partnership with A Rocha Association, is promoting on September 18th, between 9pm and 11pm, at the Municipal Park of Sítio das Fontes in Estômbar, a free environmental awareness activity dedicated to nocturnal butterflies. The initiative aims to raise awareness about the importance of these species for ecosystem balance and food security, demystifying negative ideas often associated with moths. Participation is limited to 12 registrations, subject to prior registration by email, and is open to people over 16 years old.
