The Santana Cidade Solidária Association promotes, on October 21st, at Quinta do Furão, the Regional Meeting "The Meaning of Caring". The event is aimed at valuing and training professionals who provide care to the elderly population.

The formalisation of the programme contract that enables the holding of the meeting took place last Friday, at the headquarters of the Santana Cidade Solidária Association (ASCS). The ceremony was presided over by an official not identified in the article.

The meeting aims to recognise the importance of the work carried out by those who care for elderly people, simultaneously offering training and tools for the improvement of the care provided to this segment of the population.
