Portugal Submits National Nature Restoration Plan to the European Commission

Portugal submitted its National Nature Restoration Plan to the European Commission this Friday. The country thus became the third Member State of the European Union to submit this plan, following other countries that had already fulfilled this obligation.

The Portuguese plan includes a total of 386 measures aimed at restoring natural ecosystems. These actions seek to restore habitats and biodiversity in national territory, contributing to the European Union's environmental objectives.

The submission of the plan comes within the framework of obligations arising from European legislation on nature restoration, which requires all Member States to submit their national plans by the deadlines set by the Commission.

Baltic countries create joint drone defense force
