The PP of Vila-real accuses the PSPV and Compromís government team of "lack of transparency"

The Popular Party of Vila-real has strongly criticized the government team formed by PSPV and Compromís for an alleged "lack of transparency" in municipal management.

According to the PP, the city council does not publish minor contracts on the Public Sector Contracting Platform within the established deadline nor in the correct manner.

This platform is a mandatory system where public administrations must make public the information about their contracts to guarantee transparency and citizen oversight.

The Popular Party of Vila-real has made this accusation as opposition to the municipal government formed by socialists and Compromís.

The Minister of Economy and Territorial Cohesion, Manuel Castro Almeida, stated on TVI's National Journal that the Government did not raise taxes in the two budgets presented and that it will not do so this time either.
