The Portuguese Government will launch on September 1st a new call for the improvement of irrigation systems affected by storms, with an increase of 25 million euros. The announcement was made by the Minister of Agriculture, José Manuel Fernandes. This funding comes as a response to the damage caused by a series of storms that affected irrigation infrastructure in several regions of the country. The measure aims to support the repair and recovery of irrigation systems damaged by adverse weather conditions.
