Real Sociedad and RC Celta will have a very competitive league phase ahead in the 2026-2027 Europa League. Friday's draw revealed that both Spanish teams will face opponents of great caliber during this stage of the European competition.

Among the most notable rivals awaiting the two Spanish clubs are Italian Juventus, English Crystal Palace, and French Lyon and Marseille. These opponents represent some of the most traditional and competitive clubs in European football.
