A Nepali chef will hold solidarity dinners in Lisbon to raise funds for victims of floods that affected the Himalayas. The charitable action takes place next Tuesday, October 1st, and involves the participation of four restaurants in the Portuguese capital.
The establishments involved are Casa Nepalês, Come Prima, Il Mercato and Forno d'Oro, all located in Lisbon. Each restaurant will contribute to the initiative voluntarily, offering meals whose proceeds will be entirely donated to the flood victims.
The floods in the Himalayas caused significant destruction in the region, affecting local communities that now face difficulties rebuilding their lives and communities. The Nepali chef's action comes as a response to this humanitarian catastrophe.
