The law firm Abreu advised an international consortium in the acquisition of 90% of SAD of Estrela da Amadora, a Portuguese football club. This transaction represents a significant change in the shareholder structure of the sports society.
The investor group is composed by the ADvantage fund, based in Jerusalem, Israel, and by the company LEAD, which holds the ADvantage fund, with support from KI Group. The operation thus involves an investment structure with international presence.
Among the investors, Thomas Müller and Mats Hummels stand out, both professional football players, who are part of the shareholder structure of the consortium that bought the Portuguese club. Their participation adds international visibility to the investment.
