Rock in Rio will have plainclothes police inside the City of Rock and 7.6 thousand agents; see security plan

The security for Rock in Rio 2026 will have a total force of 7,680 agents mobilized during the festival days. The plan was announced on Friday morning and includes 4,500 military police, 1,740 civil police, 600 firefighters, 700 Operation Dry Law agents and 140 Present Security agents. The State Security Secretariat (SESP) will be responsible for the integrated coordination of the agencies involved in the operation.

Inside the City of Rock, there will be uniformed and plainclothes police, as well as specialized teams to combat cell phone thefts. One of the new features this year is air space monitoring, with a structure to identify drones flying without authorization in the event area.
