The free electoral time begins this Friday (28) and will be broadcast in two daily blocks on radio and television. Free electoral propaganda is a right guaranteed by Brazilian electoral legislation so that candidates can present their proposals to voters during the campaign period.
The Sistema O Dia de Comunicação, which includes O Dia TV and FM O Dia, will have changes in the programming of its vehicles to accommodate the broadcast of free electoral time. The changes affect the times at which programs are normally transmitted.
The two daily blocks of electoral propaganda will be distributed throughout the day, following the rules established by the Electoral Court for the period of political campaigns on radio and television stations in the country.
