The Metropolitan Cathedral of São Sebastião, located in downtown Rio de Janeiro, has just received new scenic lighting. The monument is considered one of the most striking features of the city's landscape.

The intervention was carried out by RioLuz and has already been completed. The new scenic lighting marks a special moment for the temple, which in 2026 celebrates 50 years since its inauguration.

The cathedral is one of the main architectural landmarks of Rio de Janeiro, and the renewal of its lighting aims to further highlight its structure in the city's urban landscape.
