Benfica and Torreense Already Know Their Opponents in the Europa League

SL Benfica and Torreense already know their opponents in the 2026/27 Europa League, after the draw held this Friday in Monaco. The highlight for Benfica is the visit to San Siro to face AC Milan, in an early stage of the competition that promises to be challenging for both Portuguese teams.

Torreense embarks on the adventure of European competitions for the first time in their history. The team will face Celtic and Lech Poznan, opponents who are also on Benfica's schedule in this initial phase of the competition.

Benfica was drawn with opponents such as AC Milan, AZ Alkmaar, Celtic, Viktoria Plzen, Lech Poznan, Omonia, OFI Crete and NEC. For their part, Torreense will face Olympiacos, Real Sociedad, Celtic, Ferencváros, Sunderland, Lech Poznan, Ararat-Armenia and Lillestrom.

The Europa League final is scheduled for Stadion Frankfurt in Germany, on May 26, 2027.
