The University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD) confirmed its support for the 6th edition of the Grande Prémio Douro Internacional, which will take place between August 28 and 30. The cycling event will feature approximately 120 athletes from 18 teams, traveling through the iconic landscapes of the Douro region, connecting the interior to the coast of the country.
The competition will begin with a 2.8-kilometer night prologue through the streets of Vila Real on August 28, from 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM. The following day, UTAD will serve as the starting point of the first stage, taking cyclists from the Rectory to Lamego, crossing some of the most beautiful landscapes of the region. The final stage will take place in the city of Porto on August 30.

No dia seguinte, a UTAD servirá como ponto de partida da primeira etapa, que levará os ciclistas da Reitoria até Lamego, atravessando algumas das mais belíssimas paisagens da região. A última etapa será realizada na cidade do Porto no dia 30 de agosto.
