Journey through the Interior takes PS leader to Alqueva and Mértola

The PS secretary-general, José Luís Carneiro, visits the Alqueva area and the municipality of Mértola this Friday, the 28th, as part of the Journey through the Interior and Cross-Border Cooperation that has been taking place since the beginning of the week.

The socialist leader starts the day at 9:30 am with a visit to the Alqueva dam. Then, at 12:30 pm, he goes to the rehabilitation works on the Municipal Road between Mértola and Pomarão, which is being transformed into a cross-border connection.

The Journey through the Interior and Cross-Border Cooperation is a national PS initiative that aims to listen to the country's territories. The motto of this initiative is "Value the Interior. Strengthen Cooperation. Build the Future."

O secretário-geral do PS, José Luís Carneiro, vai estar nesta sexta-feira, 28, na zona do Alqueva e no concelho de Mértola, no âmbito da Rota pelo Interior e Cooperação Transfronteiriça, que está a realizar desde o início da semana.

O líder socialista começa o dia, pelas 9h30, na barragem do Alqueva, seguindo-se, pelas 12h30, uma visita às obras de requalificação do Caminho Municipal entre Mértola e o Pomarão, que está a ser transformado numa ligação transfronteiriça.

A Rota pelo Interior e Cooperação Transfronteiriça é uma iniciativa nacional do PS “destinada a ouvir os territórios, sob o lema ‘Valorizar o Interior. Reforçar a Cooperação. Construir o Futuro’”.
