"Pilgrim Father" arrives at the chaplaincy of ULS Coimbra to serve and listen

Diário de Coimbra28 August 2026 at 08:03

Father Filipe Diniz will take on the mission of chaplain at the Local Health Unit (ULS) of Coimbra. Diário de Coimbra revealed how the preparations are going for this new stage of his religious journey.

The priest arrives at this role after an unforgettable experience at World Youth Day, which deeply marked his path. Just recently, he was serving the community of Soure before moving on to this new challenge.

According to Father Filipe Diniz himself, this opportunity represents "another opportunity to continue filling the pilgrim's backpack," in a reference to his identity as a pilgrim that he has been building throughout his journey.
