The Australian central defender Circati, 22 years old, made his debut for Benfica during the match against a Danish team. The young player came on in the final minutes of the match, accumulating only seven minutes of play.

Circati arrived at Benfica from Parma, having been signed for an approximate value of 20 million euros. The Australian defender recently naturalized as Portuguese, which allowed him to join the Portuguese national team.

The debut took place on the trip to Denmark, where Benfica played an away game. The young centre-back thus had the opportunity to officially debut for the Portuguese club.

At just 22 years old, Circati is considered a rising star in Australian and European football, having developed his career in Italy at Parma before transferring to Benfica.
