Ukrainian authorities call for evacuation of Kherson residents due to Russian attacks

Authorities in Kherson, a city in southern Ukraine, have called on residents to evacuate the region due to the danger of intensification of Russian bombings. The appeal was made by regional governor Oleksandr Prokudin through Telegram, who addressed especially families with children and elderly people, asking them to leave the city while it is possible.

Prokudin warned that the attacks could leave Kherson without electricity or heating for a long period. The situation in the city, which had about 280,000 inhabitants before the start of the Russian invasion in February 2022, was classified by the governor as "extremely difficult."

The night before the appeal, Russian forces again attacked Kherson's urban heating plant with glide bombs. According to Prokudin, the facility suffered very serious damage as a result of the bombing.

Wait times in emergency rooms rise again for red and yellow bracelets

Wait times in hospital emergency rooms in Portugal have increased again, particularly for patients classified with red and yellow bracelets, which represent urgent and less urgent cases, respectively. The Minister of Health had recently stated that the situation was significantly improved compared to two years ago, but the data collected reveals that reality continues to show significant inequalities depending on the level of clinical priority assigned to patients, partially contradicting the government narrative.
