URGENT: Nepal: Teams attempt to rescue over 100 workers trapped in tunnel

Rescue teams were today attempting to save over 100 workers who remain trapped in a tunnel at a hydroelectric dam construction site in Nepal. The situation occurs after a devastating flood that hit the region.

The flood happened on Wednesday on the border between Nepal and Tibet and caused at least 472 deaths, according to the Nepali army.

The workers are trapped inside the tunnel at the hydroelectric dam construction site, where rescue teams continue to work to remove them safely.

The Nepali army is coordinating rescue operations to try to save the more than one hundred workers who remain trapped at the site.
