Luís Raposo, leader of JSD/Açores, today defended a strategy for valuing and retaining young talent in the region. The politician considers that the Azores must create conditions for young people to choose to remain in the archipelago, finding in the Azores a "better alternative".

Raposo spoke at the opening session of the 13th Summer University of JSD and PSD/Açores, an event that brings together young social democrats to debate political and regional issues.

The leader of JSD/Açores emphasized the need to attract and retain young people in the region, suggesting that the development of local opportunities may be the key to reversing the emigration phenomenon affecting the archipelago.
