The vice president of the Regional Government of the Azores defended today that the Azores continue to be the pillar of the link between Europe and America. The declaration was made in the context of an analysis on transatlantic relations between the two continents.
According to the official, new opportunities in transatlantic relations can be glimpsed. The vice president highlighted that, if in the past the Azores were the transatlantic bridge through Azorean emigrants, this position is maintained in the present and future.
