US maneuver "is for a few months, until the end of the year or early 2027. Only then will it yield results"

Historian António José Telo commented on the Middle East conflict and the US strategy regarding the situation in the region.

According to the specialist, the United States is adopting a diplomatic maneuver aimed at "buying time, avoiding military operations" in the Asian country in question.

António José Telo further stated that this American maneuver has an expected duration of "a few months, until the end of the year or early 2027", adding that it will only yield results at that time.

The historian also considered that, for now, the US is succeeding with this time-buying strategy in the context of the Middle East conflict.
