Anderlecht, coached by Portuguese Vítor Bruno, managed to repeat a victory and secured qualification for the Europa League league phase. The Belgian club had won the first leg of the playoff and prevailed again in the second leg.
In the same competition, Ararat-Armenia, managed by Portuguese coach Manuel Tulipa, defeated Universitatea Craiova, a team coached by Filipe Coelho, also Portuguese. This victory allowed the Armenian club to advance to the league phase.
Both clubs with Portuguese technical leadership thus achieved the goal of qualifying for this stage of the European competition. The two Lusitanian teams join other clubs that had already secured their place in the Europa League league phase.
The Europa League league phase will bring together multiple European teams in a competition that distributes points and defines the advancement to the next phase of the tournament.
