"We offer all the help you need": Trump announces US support for Nepal

US President Donald Trump announced, this Thursday, that the United States will send aid to Nepal after devastating floods hit the border region with China. The declaration was made publicly, with Trump stating that the country offers all necessary assistance.

The floods caused great destruction in the region bordering Nepal and China. The US State Department indicated that 90 American citizens remain missing, both in China and in Nepal, as a result of this natural catastrophe.

The support announced by the United States comes at a time of great humanitarian need in the region affected by the floods.
